This newly renovated north shore lake front property boasts the most ideal location in Nelson. Featuring stunning views, an exceptionally private beach - located one mile from town, 30 mins from WH20 (ski hill) and 5 mins from Nelson's most popular hiking trail.
The three bedroom, two bathroom home has a custom kitchen and dining area - perfect for entertaining. The finished walkout basement offers a full equipped mud room for you to dry out your ski or beach gear.
Although only listed as a three bedroom, the recreation room can act as a semi private fourth bedroom with a queen sized pull out couch. There is a separate lockable detached shed for your sporting gear. Please note that the home has a strict no hosted events/parties policy. Max occupancy is 6 people. All registered guests/visitors must be pre-approved through property manager. Also - while we love animals, we cannot accommodate pets.

Summary: We've visited Nelson many times in the winter, and love it, but had never been there in the summer. The Hidden Half Mile Lake House was a perfect place to stay to experience Nelson when the leaves are still on the trees. The waterfront access was great, and, as we were blessed with generally warm and dry weather, we were in the water pretty well every day SUPing, kayaking, and just taking dips in the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub as well, alternating between going down to the cool (cold) water of the lake and then coming back up and re-heating while taking in the views. The place is close to town by car. Lovely neighbours, with active kids running around (and who even brought us a gift of some flowers and plums). And Jake and Mariah were super helpful throughout. Recommended!

Summary: Such a beautiful space! A modern tasteful place with every convenience. A seriously beautiful beach. Quiet, secluded - though just minutes from town. Amazing view! Geese, merganzers and a cute family of otters swimming by on occasion. So much beauty. Host Jake was very welcoming.
